Purpose:

The Theater, Multipurpose Room, Conference Rooms, Class Rooms, Kitchens & Gym at Salem Baptist Church of Abington are intended for educational, spiritual, and community activities.  To ensure a positive and respectful environment for all users, the following rules and regulations must be adhered to. 

• All individuals using the classrooms are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that reflects the values of Salem Baptist Church.  This includes treating others with respect and kindness.
• Loud or disruptive behavior is not permitted.  Please maintain a respectful level of noise to avoid disturbing others.

• Users are responsible for leaving the classroom in the same condition as it was found.  This includes cleaning up any spills, disposing of trash properly, and returning furniture to its original arrangement.
• All personal items, materials, and equipment must be removed from the room at the end of each use.  The church is not responsible for the loss of forgotten items.

•  Classrooms should be organized and clutter-free.  Please ensure that all materials are stored appropriately and that the space is tidy.
• If using any church supplies or equipment, please return them to their designated places after use.

• All activities conducted in the rooms must align with the values and teachings of Salem Baptist Church.  Inappropriate conduct, language, or behavior will not be tolerated.
•  Users should dress appropriately and maintain a standard of decency that reflects the church’s values.

•  All room use must be scheduled in advance through the church office.  Reservations will be confirmed based on availability.
•  Priority will be given to church-related activities, tenants, and events.

•  Children and youth must be supervised by an adult at all times while in the rooms.  It is the supervising adult’s responsibility to ensure adherence to these rules.

• If food and beverages are permitted, users must ensure that all areas are cleaned thoroughly after consumption.  No food or drink should be left unattended.

•  Users are responsible for any damage caused to the classroom or its contents during their use.  Any damages must be reported to the church office immediately.

• Failure to comply with these rules and regulations may result in the loss of room privileges.  Continued violations will be addressed by church leadership.
