DESCRIPTION:  \nDiscussion on Future Trips to Africa  \nThe first meeting was held to discuss plans with members interested in participating in a future trip to Ghana\, South Africa\, Ethiopia\, or Kenya. It was a wonderful opportunity to come together\, share ideas\, and help shape the direction of our church’s future trips. From the responses received so far\, the responses indicated a desire for a sightseeing trip with an emphasis on culture and history.  \nSalem members were also asked about doing another cross-country train trip\, similar to the trip Salem took across country with my mother years ago. So far\, responses have indicated a desire to secure sleeping berths\, so we really need to hear your preference. Also\, the cities we visit will be determined by the group.  \nAnother discussion will be held after the service on the first Sunday to share responses and get more opinions. Also\, if you are interested in completing the survey during February\, please email Leonore Hope at TravelClub@salembaptistchurch.org or text me at 267-228-2100\, and I will send you the survey  \nDuring the discussion\, we will discuss:  \n\nPotential travel dates \n\n\nAreas of interest and/or service \n\n\nPossible itineraries \n\n\nMeal options \n\n\nAccommodation preferences \n\n\nLength of trip \n\nYour input will be invaluable as we plan meaningful and impactful trips.
