Praise Is The Cure

On Saturday, September 19, 2026, Salem Baptist Church was honored to host Praise Is The Cure (PITC) for a full day of free health screenings, food, fellowship, and celebration. The event featured a Survivor’s Pamper Party, a Men’s Health Forum, and a closing Gospel Concert. We look forward to welcoming PITC back next year and continuing our partnership to raise awareness about breast cancer, promote early detection, and support individuals and families impacted by the disease.

God On The Grounds

Salem Baptist Church of Abington’s annual outdoor worship experience brings together family, friends, and the community for powerful praise, prayer, fellowship, and the Word of God. Enjoy a spirit-filled service followed by a day of food, fun, and fellowship for all ages as we celebrate faith, family, and community beyond the church walls.  Mark your calendar and join us next year for another memorable celebration of faith, fellowship, and community at God on the Grounds!

Black Women for Shapiro

A campaign event hosted by the Pennsylvania Democratic Party Vice Chair Jamila H. Winder, alongside local community and party leaders. Featured speakers and guests Governor Josh Shapiro, Actress and activist Sheryl Lee Ralph, Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle L. Parker, Pennsylvania House Speaker Joanna McClinton, and State Senator Vincent Hughes. It encouraged civic participation and discussed issues affecting Black women, families, and communities.

A Night of Worship

Pastor Paul Scott Sr. and the Harvest Celebration Choir at Abundant Harvest Church present a powerful Night of Worship, centered on the theme “A Sound from Heaven: Worship That Moves the Hand of God.” This special gathering is open to all and will inspire an evening of heartfelt worship, uplifting praise, and spiritual renewal in God's presence. Guests experienced an atmosphere of faith, unity, and transformation as they worshiped together in fellowship.
